difficult but not impossible. the gen ed is on the heavier side which is apparently being altered. have some form of significant leadership that specifically exemplifies your qualities. as long as you have a really strong background and earn good grades in hs and present yourself as having a good sense of character you should be ok. you don't necessarily need ap's. it depends on your intellgence though. others will say it is not challenging. i find this to be a somewhat difficult school at which many are underrated. on a positive note, upon graduating from here, should you decide to attend/graduate UMW, job rates are relatively high.

Lots of community service, and extracurricular activities. SAT scores where not bad at all and my essay i worked hard on. Just work hard in high school work on the essay and should be good.

Do lots of extracurriculars and have basically a 3.5 or better. Apply honors admission. SATs should be around at least 1200...its not too hard, don't sweat it.
